Acceptable Use Policy

Effective September 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the PeakQuorum Terms of Service. It applies to every Customer, End User, workload, credential, and use of the Services. You must not use or allow the Services to be used for the activities below.

1. Illegal activity and rights violations

  • Violating applicable law, sanctions, export controls, court orders, or regulatory requirements.
  • Infringing intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
  • Creating, possessing, distributing, or facilitating child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, or non-consensual intimate material.
  • Defrauding, deceiving, impersonating, threatening, harassing, or unlawfully discriminating against another person.

2. Security and technical abuse

  • Malware, ransomware, credential theft, phishing, spam, botnets, command-and-control, or unauthorized surveillance.
  • Unauthorized access, scanning, interception, exploitation, denial of service, traffic amplification, or disruption of systems or networks.
  • Operating an open proxy, public VPN, anonymization relay, exit node, or similar traffic-forwarding service unless an accepted order expressly permits it and all required upstream approvals are in place.
  • Using deceptive routing, forged source information, or techniques intended to hide abuse or defeat attribution.
  • Testing security against a system you do not own or lack documented permission to test.

3. Service integrity

  • Bypassing or interfering with authentication, authorization, metering, billing, quotas, rate limits, logging, or security controls.
  • Sharing, transferring, reselling, sublicensing, or providing third-party access to the Services or credentials except as an accepted order expressly permits.
  • Creating accounts, projects, resources, or traffic patterns to evade fees, limits, suspension, or enforcement.
  • Using the Services to attack, benchmark deceptively, reverse engineer, or materially burden PeakQuorum or an upstream provider.
  • Cryptocurrency mining or similarly intensive proof-of-work activity unless PeakQuorum has approved it in writing and all required upstream provider approvals are in place.

4. High-risk and regulated use

You may not use the Services for weapons, nuclear facilities, emergency dispatch, life-support, autonomous control of vehicles or critical machinery, or another use where failure could reasonably cause death, serious injury, or severe environmental damage unless an accepted order expressly covers the use and all required legal, safety, insurance, and upstream-provider approvals are in place.

You may not process protected health information, payment-card data, government- classified data, export-controlled defense data, or another specially regulated data class unless an accepted order expressly authorizes it and the required agreements and safeguards are active.

5. Content and communications

  • Do not distribute unsolicited bulk messages or facilitate abusive marketing, scraping, or automated account creation.
  • Do not publish or distribute content whose primary purpose is to enable unlawful activity, targeted violence, exploitation, or evasion of security controls.
  • Do not falsely imply affiliation with or endorsement by PeakQuorum or any upstream provider.

6. Provider restrictions

Workloads must comply with every restriction that applies to the infrastructure on which PeakQuorum places them. We may communicate provider-specific requirements through an order, product notice, documentation, or enforcement notice. Where multiple rules apply, the stricter rule controls. You must promptly provide information reasonably needed to investigate a provider or abuse complaint and must stop affected activity when directed.

The applicable requirements include the current AWS Acceptable Use Policy, Google Cloud Acceptable Use Policy, Cloudflare Self-Serve Subscription Agreement acceptable-use restrictions, and Microsoft Product Terms Acceptable Use Policy, in each case only to the extent the provider and policy apply to the placed workload and as those policies change over time. This flow-down supplements, and does not reduce, the restrictions elsewhere in this AUP.

7. Enforcement

PeakQuorum may investigate suspected violations and may immediately block traffic, isolate or remove content, revoke credentials, suspend resources or accounts, or terminate access without prior notice when reasonably necessary to protect people, customers, providers, or the Services; comply with law or a provider requirement; or prevent continuing harm. We may preserve and disclose information as required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse and protect the Services and others.

We consider the nature, severity, recurrence, intent, and impact of conduct, but no warning or cure period is required for urgent, unlawful, dangerous, or repeated abuse.

8. Reporting and updates

Report suspected abuse through the PeakQuorum contact form with the affected resource, time, evidence, and contact details. We may update this AUP as described in the Terms of Service.
